No matter whether summer or winter, the Mummelsee is always worthwhile. In winter you can also run on ice. Don't forget: take some ham and freshly baked bread from the bakery in the parking lot (also on Sundays).

The bakery at the parking lot is very good. Definitely take a bread and enjoy later or on the tour.
However, the place is a "tourist trap". Too many people. Best avoided over the weekend and during the week (if the weather is not so good). Then you and your family have more of it.

After days of loneliness, there is tremendous commotion here. But then there is also a sausage and a small supermarket to replenish the supplies.

A good place to rest when not a busload of tourists has arrived.

The destination of the northern Black Forest. That's why there's always a lot going on here.

On some days just too many people. But in such a place also understandable.

Smaller than expected, but beautiful. Local art is distributed around the lake. However, the parking is the same size as the lake. Not for hermits.

The warm bread with lard is a real highlight.
In the season it is very crowded especially on weekends.

Small mountain lake with a walk around it.
In the summer, a good cooling - but the tourism companies have noticed and always throw a busload of people from.
There is also a "Einkehr", if you can call a medium-sized hotel like this 😉

In winter, when the lake is frozen, you can go directly to the mermaid. On Sunday, unfortunately, always quite a lot of operation, but it runs on the trails again.

A very nice, small lake - but unfortunately very crowded. Along the lake there is an art trail.

Although it is busy on the Mummelsee, a short circuit is worthwhile anyway.

With the bus you do not need a parking space!

From Mummelsee up to Dreifürstenstein. At first comfortable, then downhill to Seibelseckle. Very nice quiet tour.

    Sculpture from the Mummelsee legend.
You can climb over the stones in the shallow water - on hot days you can also barefoot without stones ...

    Good thing for children

Indigenous art is distributed around the entire Mummelsse. Corresponding signs explain the respective artwork.

For the younger generation - definitely think of a love lock. There is still room on the tree.
