• Lech dam 23 (Mandichosee): This reservoir is an important resting and breeding place for various water bird species. Regular excursions enable the observation of breeding and migratory birds both on the reservoir and in the adjacent floodplain forest.
• Lech dam 27 (Feldheimer reservoir): Designated as a nature reserve since 1982, this reservoir serves as an important breeding and moulting area for water birds as well as a resting and wintering place for Nordic species.
