The castle Zievel is privately owned and is used as a residence and business. The outdoor facilities are only partially accessible; In the park landscape around mansion, keep and outbuilding was founded by the club founded in 1994/95 an 18-hole golf course. Old trees and reed-formed ponds, which once shaped the English landscape garden, surround the partly hilly fairways.The rectangular structure was originally a moated castle, but its trenches are not preserved. The round donjon on the west side, strongly changed by baroque dome and white paint, comes in its core of an older forerunner. Each gate tower is located at the southwest and northwest corner. A two-storey building with a stepped gable next to the keep is dated 1661, thus comes from the Metternich expansion phase. From the years 1825 to 1828, the new manor house with pink paint, which replaced the demolished in 1828 construction

Almost 1000 years old medieval castle. Very idyllic located around a golf course. TIP: In the clubhouse you can (as well) as a biker eat well and drink with great views of the golf course.
