When it came to the nature and the forest in the district was
Gustav Zahn (1935 - 2018) on the spot.
Whether it's a forest trail, bird species or just the flora and fauna of the area, he was at the forefront
Siegfried Beckschebe (1938 - 2018), with whom he also rebuilt the "Dachsenfranz Cave".
The new hut is due to him, because the old "Kälberer Hütte", built in 1932, was no longer usable and was demolished due to weather conditions and fungal attack of the wood.
