  • The Bärensteine are ideal for short hiking tours with the family. The view from Kleine Bärenstein is breathtaking, as is the case with all the table mountains.

  • If you boot up the stairs, the ruins look like Amon Hen. :-D
But above no Uruk Hai await you, but one of the best views in Saxon Switzerland. Directly in the southeast opposite the Lilienstein.
In the middle of the upper plateau there is a single stone for climbing and an even better view. But be careful, don't fall into the brick hole ...

  • I didn't like the Little Bear Stone. Somehow gives the impression that young people are coming up here to drink. Bottles and lots of garbage lay in a brick vault at the top of the view. I would save the ascent and prefer to climb the Großer Bärenstein and especially the Rauenstein. Lezterer offers an incredible panorama!

  • Easy to reach with dog (if it can climb stairs well ... it is only wood and stone steps, if you come from the Götzinger cave, if you come from the other side there are less steps, but some grid steps) ,

  • An absolute must for Elbsandstein fans :) The all-round view is amazing. :)

  • Below the Thürmsdorfer stone it goes here to the northeast to the small bear stone, to the southeast to the forest parking lot and to the west to the Bärenstein disk, block and guard.

  • One of the best views on the little bear stone

  • The direct parking on the street is blocked by barriers. Therefore park on the highway or come from Thürmsdorf.

  • Unfortunately I was denied the view due to the Baeömisch Nebbel, but it was still fantastic.

  • Various career opportunities and mysterious ruins on the top, which stimulate the train of thought as it may have looked like. The view is also breathtaking! :)

  • Very nice view and old buildings can be seen.
Anyone who climbs to the highest point can look into a vent in the Bärenstein that is not visible from the outside.

  • Two peaks in one day, right next to each other.

  • The special thing about the little bear stone are the mysterious ruins around which different stories are entwined. They range from a hotel, which was destroyed in World War II, to the remnants of a manor. Whatever the truth, the remains suggest a glorious past.

  • say it what it used to be ... I'm typing on an outpost from times of 2nd WW .... Lt. a hiker hit on the way was then used by individual shooters, therefore partial dismantling takes place ...

  • Great view and not too built up, how many parts of the Saxon. Switzerland.

  • The climb is quite interesting but not too strenuous to do with children. When you go down the passage is a bit hidden and not recognizable at first glance

  • The bear stones are not so well known to many hikers, but at least as beautiful as the Rauenstein 😃🐻⛰
