The Gorsselse Heide is a beautiful wet heath area in the municipality of Lochem. For centuries, the heath was part of the Marken area, an undivided area that was shared and managed by neighboring farmers. It is about 110 hectares and mainly covered with heather and coniferous and deciduous forest. There are a number of fens in the area, which can be seen on the Deventerdijk on the left. These sand & gravel strips run along this Heid area.
