    Already in 1782 there was the old village jug in Schönwalde / Glien. This was destroyed in a fire. It was rebuilt between 1784 and 1785. Due to economic considerations, the then king, Frederick the Great, approved 2000 steps closer to the city of Spandau.     The area of today's Schönwalde settlement was originally a large forest area that belonged to the Schönwalde manor. In 1900 further plots of land were created near the stone bridge. In 1932, the then manor owner Reinhard von Risselmann sold part of the forest area to a real estate agent from Berlin-Westend. He parceled it out and sold it.
