The Hundsloch natural monument is a remarkable indoor cave on the western slope of the "Lochberg". The "Great Dog Hole" consists of a large vault (entrance approx. 16 m wide) with rock chambers. Caution is advised, rocks can break off. Take a flashlight with you! The cave is listed in the list of caves in the Franconian Jura under the cadastral number A 135. It is located in the municipality of Neukirchen bei Sulzbach-Rosenberg - between Hundsboden and Blechhof.

Better to come from the east; Turn off from the main path is not signposted; a few meters along the edge of the forest and then on a narrow single trail through the bushes down to the
dog hole.
