In 1402, cisterns, two-story buildings and gates were still preserved from the multi-part castle complex. The main castle was separated from an inner, middle and outer outer bailey by ditches. In 1970 the shield wall was uncovered, on the southern side of which the remains of a round tower, probably the keep, can be seen. Every year on Whit Monday, the Andeckfest of the Talheim local group of the Swabian Alb Association takes place at the foot of the mountain spur.
