Every year we drive to the Alhuser Ahe nature reserve and marvel at the blooming lark spur. Fascinating about this alluvial forest is the contrast between the tall, old stock of common oak and field maple and the lark spur, which is only a few centimeters high.
Tip: there is less going on during the week. At the weekend, the visitors accumulate.

Hiking

The area seems to be known for the lark spur - apparently also outside of komoot. We met two elderly couples there, independently of each other, to whom the area had been recommended. At the end of February, however, it is still too early, nothing is blooming yet. But it's still nice there.
