Cycling

The new church was inaugurated on May 1, 1953. The architect Theodor Burlage from Osnabrück had designed a bright hall church without pillars, with a modern coffered ceiling and a total length of 44 meters, which could accommodate around 500 seats. Burlage and his colleague Bernd Niebuer were among the most important church architects in northwest Germany at the time. Burlage was convinced that Christians who have both feet in life would only be touched by a church interior that was a child of its time.
