Hohwacht Beach

Since I first got through on a big bike tour in summer almost 40 years ago, I have been overwhelmed by the picture: yellow cornfields and the blue Baltic Sea impressed themselves. Even today, this place has lost none of its appeal.
Environmental protection is very important. The Tivoli campsite had to give way. But nature and hikers on photo stalks have won. You can find many motifs in small, you have to bring leisure. My tip is the campsite Platen. Very well located, well equipped and an ideal starting point for tours.

Very beautiful nature and not overcrowded. No obtrusive Gosch slugs and thus also not the "see & be seen" clientele😉

Tourism is not yet as pronounced here as in the Bay of Lübeck 😀
