Presumably in the beginning of 1700, the Baunhöller mill is built in the Preisbachtal, previously the mill is not mentioned in the register of residents and church records. Builder could have been the former owner Hans Emmerich Pinger.
In 1967, the mill became a popular excursion destination due to new buildings and conversions.
