Not far from the road from Gelliehausen to Appenrode the tree-less vantage point in front of the Alte Gleichen with a wonderful panoramic view from the Harz in the north to the Reinhausen Forest in the southwest. Nice view of the nearby mountains Alte Gleichen 430 m above sea level and Eschenberg 404 m above sea level.
