The Willow Church in Pappenheim is an impressive structure, if you can call it that. After all, this open-air church consists only of a metal frame over which plants climb. In summer, the church is beautifully green. The plants allow the church to grow and change every year.
It was planted by the Evangelical Youth of Bavaria during the Easter holidays of 2007 and will soon celebrate its twentieth anniversary.
The Willow Church can be visited at any time and offers a lovely setting for a rest.
