    Hiking

Beinn a'Chlachair is a 1,087m Munro mountain in the Scottish Highlands. I approached the mountain via a path which ran up the Allt Coire Pitridh. It's to necessary peel off the path and make your way south over pathless terrain to reach the summit, but make sure you keep to the east of the Coire Mor Chlachair (corrie) that sits to the north of the summit.

    Mountaineering

Beinn a' Chlachair is a Munro and Marilyn classified mountain, 1,087 m (3,566 ft) high in Scotland. Its Gaelic name can be roughly translated as Stonemason's Mountain.

It is located in the Highland council area in the Grampian Mountains east of Spean Bridge between Loch Laggan and Loch Ericht in the lonely mountain landscape of the Ardverikie Forest. In total there are three Munros and various other peaks in the Ardverikie Forest. To the south, separated by An Lairig, which is around 500 meters lower, there is the mountain range north of Ben Alder.
