The Jelení hora (German Hassberg, while Jelení hora means "Hirschberg") is a 994 m high mountain of the Ore Mountains in the Aussiger region in the territory of the Czech Republic.
The mountain is located in Okres Chomutov between Annaberg-Buchholz and Chomutov southeast of the community Kryštofovy Hamry (Christophhammer). It rises above the wide valley of Preßnitz with the dam Preßnitz, which today is located on the site of the former mining town Přísečnice (Preßnitz) southwest of the mountain. Striking is the steep, narrow and only partially wooded crest of the mountain, which rises above the vast plateaus of the Erzgebirgskammes and thus allows a good view of the Upper Ore Mountains and limited to the Egertal.

The summit cross is the actual center of the 994 meter high Haßberg. As it is completely overgrown with spruce today, there is unfortunately no view from here.Once upon a time:
In the 1830s Countess Gabriela Buquoy erected a wooden lookout on the summit, in which a staircase led to a platform on the roof. Next to this building was an alarm bar. The barn and cottage, which had been renovated in 1852, were demolished at the end of the 1880s. According to a report from 1924 was at that time a wooden basement pyramid on the highest point. According to a description of the same author of 1930, an 18 -meter-high observation pyramid was built in 1928 on the summit, which he repeatedly mentioned in 1933. Details are not known.Soon after starting work on the Royal Saxon Triangulation, it was agreed with Austria-Hungary to connect the border triangle network around the scale-defining Großenhainer baseline to the south with the surveying network of Bohemia. In the course of this a triangulation stone was erected on the Hassberg, of which, however, only the pedestal announces.1.
