The River Frome runs immediately north of Moreton and features an impressive ford and a lengthy foot/cycle bridge. The bridge is narrow and most enjoyable to traverse, giving wonderful aspects of the river from its midpoint. A bit of an attraction in the summer months and a good paddling spot, expect busyness during this time.

Cycling

This is a neat little bridge crossing the river over to Moreton. It's on the Jubilee trail. Gets busy obviously in the summer. If you are heading in the direction of Moreton, then there is a great little tearooms just over this bridge, and into the village. It's quite low handrails so easy to wheelie across without fear of knocking bars. On the downside, it probably makes it easier to fall in.
