No sunlight and little daylight have we had all day but a walk was needed so waterproofs donned we set off.
First stop the pharmacy for my prescription then Stanedykehead and home through Netherbank and Howden Hall estate.

I had cycled into town for an unscheduled volunteering session of book drops to temporary accommodations this morning but decided a walk wouldn't go amiss.
We went for our usual walk in, to misquote a cycling friend, in the near sunshine, it was certainly good daylight all day today with the solar panels

An extended joint afternoon walk in what passed for sunshine including dropping ECG results done at DVLAs behest at my doctors and collect Cathy's meds from the pharmacy which entailed a meander through Balmwell and Gracemount.
After that it was Liberton Drive to Stanedykehead with a divert to photograph

After the beautiful sunshine earlier in the day by the time we got out the sun was a hazy orange glow behind the cloud and with it's disappearance the temperature had dropped to around 3C.
Our extended route allowed us to stop and watch a crow feeding, at about 6ft away it was surprisingly unperturbed
