A trip of two halves this morning I cycled to the post office to dispatch some rather tasty (our third and best effort at making them) Tim Spector chocolate and pecan GF/Vegan cookies to Fiona and Ross, they are very tasty and allegedly healthy then wasted an hour hunting for small nuts and bolts around

We waited ready to go till one vicious shower passed over then set off for standard round plus carrot shopping?

Note to self - read the recipe when doing shopping list 🙄🙄

Rain today offered 35min of dry which seems good timing.

Very few people out - 10 in total by the time we reached the garden centre

Todays walk was pre-lunch due to the forecast rain, fortuitously as it happened as we no sooner returned than light rain started and has so far forgotten to stop.

It is amazing how much chaos can be caused even on a very quiet traffic day by cable laying with 4 way lights on Kaimes Crossroads. The need

Today's walk was an extended standard round starting by going round Broomhills, wisely we had waterproofs on having set out earlier to cycle to Morningside and not got as far as the end of the road before turning back and taking the car :-(

Clouds were low and threatening most of the time, the bypass

An opportune time for a walk on a very warm day when sheltered from the breeze as after lunch the weather deteriorated into a miserable smirr of wind driven light rain.

The errands were just fish and bread for dinner of chowder plus milk and from M&S plus some nuts & washers from Halfords.

The campsite is well busy, we were going to get a coffee but the queue was lengthy so
