The cast iron cross is a relic from the cemetery of the Inning parish and the marter on the right shows Jesus emerging from his grave and Mary Magdalene appears, who immediately wants to touch him to assure herself of his reality (cf. Lk 24, 10). "Noli me tangere - don't touch me!" is the motif that has acquired a certain importance in Catholic iconography. The motives that inspired the founder to build this “Marterl” in this exact location still remain obscure.
