It's really not that exciting to cross the Rhine right next to the A48, but there aren't that many bridges ... ;-). The bike path is well separated and wide enough to ride very easily.
From the Bendorfer side there is only one staircase with a narrow lane for pushing up or down. On the Andernach side there are no stairs, but a "normal" tarred path.
