Tackermühle used to belong to the Lennep outlying communities. In Low German, the hamlet is called "Tackenmüöhl". The pond was made much smaller in 1925 and after, but was still used for boating. Today it has only a third of its former volume. de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tackermühle
