Arlesheim offers four castles and ruins from the Middle Ages. The somewhat hidden Reichenstein Castle and the somewhat larger Spornburg Castle Birseck as a landmark of the place, which represents the "front" castle. There was also a middle and a rear castle, but only ruins remain. Access is through the Hermitage.
The castle can be visited from mid-May to the end of September on Wednesdays and Sundays from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
