Even though Neverstaven was only a farm belonging to the Tralau estate, its importance doesn't need to be hidden behind its wall.As you approach Neverstaven, the first thing you notice is the enormous wall that surrounds the estate on three sides. Enclosing approximately three hectares, it dates back to the second half of the 19th century, as do the two large thatched farm buildings. The manager's house is somewhat more recent. The current manor house dates from 1920.It is one of the most recent buildings on the entire estate.kreis-stormarn.de/freizeit-und-tourismus/herrenhaeuser/neverstaven.html

A very long wall surrounds the property—for whatever reason. Perhaps it was once a monastery?
