Myrthuegård was acquired by Esbjerg Municipality in 1993 and is located in the Wadden Sea National Park near the mouth of the Varde Ås and the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site. There are various learning facilities, an exhibition, a utility room, a vegetable garden, huts and a shelter, meeting and workshop rooms. Myrthuegård is part of MYRTHUE - Nature, Culture & Learning and offers nature and culture mediation for day-care centers and schools in Esbjerg municipality as well as for other target groups. In addition, nature guide excursions, the annual National Park / Marbæk Day, staff events, courses and lectures.
