The well-known writer Hans Fallada lived in Neuenhagen from 1930 to 1932. A bronze fallada sculpture was created in his honor in 2012 and placed in the theatron in front of the town hall.

Town hall with Neuenhagen water tower. Built in 1925/26. The 1,000 m³ water tank is located in the upper part of the tower. It has not been used since the 1990s and is empty. The town hall no longer has a "water head".
