The nature reserve Sorgwohld is located in Schleswig-Holstein, in the district of Rendsburg-Eckernförde, northwest of Rendsburg, near the eponymous, to the community Owschlag belonging village near the Sorge lowlands. The area is the most important inland dune area in Schleswig-Holstein. It is also part of the protected area network Natura 2000. The landscape is characterized by heathland, grasslands and littered individual trees such as pines and birches. The area has a length of about 2 km and a width of about 300 meters. In order to preserve the area in its present form, heath willows and goats are used for grazing.Source: Wiki
