Hiking
Fort Hahnenberg was the last fortress construction in Germany. In 1888 the massive brick fortress was completed. To make the fort particularly stable, the old Hahneberg was partially removed and excavated and the fortress in the pit 'sunk'. Today you can visit the fort on weekends and public holidays as part of a guided tour.
