From Nonntal you can reach the fortress Hohensalzburg via a narrow and very steep road, which is initially designed with cobblestone pavement. The last climb up to the fortress is asphalted. Once at the top, it goes wavy on the back of the Mönchsberg. You pass several viewpoints to the west and east side, the Museum of Modern Art and the Hotel Schloss Mönchstein. On weekends you can prove yourself in the discipline "tourist slalom". But always ring nicely!
