At the foot of the Northern Vosges lies the pleasant little town of La Petite-Pierre. From there, there is an extensive view of the forested mountains. This colorful town is very charming with its half-timbered houses, but it is small. It is said to have just over 600 inhabitants. There are around ten restaurants there. The Hôtel des Vosges deserves a special mention: it offers a breathtaking view of the wooded valley and the Lützelstein castle.
