The steep climb to the Vrouwenbos is a challenging hiking trail in the Voer region that rewards hikers with stunning views and a unique forest experience. The path winds up through rolling fields and old sunken lanes, ascending to the forest, known for its rich biodiversity and tranquil atmosphere.

The Vrouwenbos itself is a historically and ecologically valuable area with deciduous trees, hedgerows, and hidden paths. Along the climb, you can enjoy expansive views of the surrounding hills, the villages of the Voer region, and cows grazing in the meadows. The combination of exertion and reward makes this climb a memorable experience for hikers of all levels.

This route offers a blend of nature, culture, and exercise: the landscape tells the stories of centuries-old land use, sunken lanes, and hedgerows, while the Vrouwenbos provides an oasis of tranquility.
