The strange name of the village on the old trade route to the Brenner Pass goes back to an anti-Semitic ritual murder legend from the 15th century. The small church was originally a pilgrimage church with anti-Jewish worship, which was officially banned by Bishop Reinhold Stecher in 1994. The pilgrimage was canceled and the church was renamed the Visitation.

Small but nice! But be careful: From the bike path in the valley to Judenstein there are about 400 meters of altitude to be overcome. This can be quite exhausting at the end of a long day of touring.
