Throughout the winter the pass is closed. In case of heavy snow, the closure can also last in the spring.
Continuing downhill, always on a dirt road, in about 3 km you reach the asphalt of the Peschiera-Eremo pass that connects San Benedetto in Alpe with Marradi.
