Straccabike route modified by me in some points.
Very beautiful and varied route from all points of view but also quite physically demanding.
It does not present major problems on the track, certainly a minimum of skill is required especially in some downhill parts due to the somewhat bumpy bottom.
There is a first lower part that almost reaches the Arno and then goes up again passing by the Pieve and the Castle of Romena, both beautiful and can be visited if one wishes.
From here then begins the part of single track and stradelli that takes us to Papiano passing by the beautiful Church of Coffia.
From Papiano begins the climb that through a beautiful forest takes us to the Casanova Refuge and a little further leaves the forest to enter a single track called "Sentiero dei Fascisti" among the most beautiful ever made, in the middle of the fir forest first and beech forest after, all halfway up and very smooth (pay attention to sections exposed in some points !!).
Returning to the forest road you arrive at the Casina dell'Oia and then after a stretch on a false plane you come down directly to the town of Stia.
From here all that remains is to go back to the starting point.

Nice ride very enjoyable to spend on days that are not very hot as everything is practically in the open except for small parts, but if you want to take a nice panoramic walk this is the one for you.
Done in June when the wheat is ripe, this whole area becomes a yellow colored sea.
There is no difficulty except for a short passage on the edge of a field then the rest is all on beautiful white dirt roads.

Path of rare beauty, apart from the initial climb on a paved road with no traffic which after about 5 km becomes a dirt road, then most of the route takes place within a beautiful beech forest with fun single tracks which at times are quite enough challenging.
It runs along a part of Lake Brasimone and then begins the climb again until you pass again from the Passo dell 'Alpe di Cavarzano but this time, turning left, you descend via another beautiful single track to Montepiano and then to Vernio.
I made it difficult because some of these trails require good MTB practice.

      Done on 11/9/21.
Really very beautiful tour in terms of landscape and fun for the various single tracks.
It starts from the Croci di Calenzano and always uphill you reach the summit of Monte Maggiore and then continue on the ridge slightly downhill to the Passo della Croce and then go down sharply to the left on CAI 46, after a 2/3 km downhill you deviate to the right and from here with a beautiful single track you get to Carmignanello sul Bisenzio.
On this stretch I mark a couple of very short portage points.
From Carmignanello you go up to see the famous Rocca di Cerbaia, the old path was closed by Municipal Ordinance, through a new CAI path which is called Dante's Path on which also here I point out that there are a couple of rather important walls, we we did them quite well but because in EMTB, however, nothing that cannot be tackled, also because the bottom is very good.
From the Rocca go up the ridge passing through the Church of Montecuccoli.
Arrived on the ridge, follow it always remaining at high altitude and slightly uphill until you descend again to the Passo della Croce.
      READ WELL !!
From here we got off the CAI 46 which brought us back to the Crosses and it was all a nightmare as I think the CAI hasn't done any maintenance for about 20 years, the bottom is bad and is completely closed by brambles and in various points we we had to help pass the bikes because it was almost impossible to cross some points, so I DO NOT RECOMMEND anyone from doing it (even walking is hell).
The alternative is to go up again to the Monte Maggiore at Passo della Croce and return to the Crosses by the same route as the outward journey or go down directly to the Gensini Refuge.
