There is always a reason to give Pirna a bow, -)

Alternative coming into the Seidnitztal from Dresden (or vice versa) via Großsedlitz and Krebs without having to drive through Pirna. Here I have been driving in both directions regularly for a while, saving myself the main streets in Pirna. The increase to Großsedlitz at the beginning brings it to about 10 percent. But it is a quiet shortcut. The piece of bike path has something of an insider tip, but is unfortunately not in as good a condition as the asphalt is cracking open. You can still drive well.

You can also go directly past the Großsedlitz baroque garden. In winter, the ticket booth is not occupied and you can at least peek inside.

A short section ("cave") is on an asphalted cycle path through the forest. This is recommended for uphill rides. Downhill rides are only possible to a limited extent or at a slow pace, as the asphalt is partially broken up by roots.
