The Rieke Stein is an ice age boulder measuring 2m high, 2m wide and 3.5 long, i.e. a volume of 8.4 m³. What is special about this stone is its weathered inscription. which says: in February 1769, 27 pieces of lead were caught there in one hour.
There is also a legend about the Rieke Stein and the Teufelsstein near Hohendorf.
Two giants once threw themselves - one in Hohendorf, the other standing on the Gnitz - each with a stone. The intent of the duel: everyone wanted to kill the other. One stone is at Hohendorf, the other protrudes from the backwaters in front of the Gnitz. What happened to the two giants? Well, unfortunately we don't know.

Can also be viewed very well from the backwaters, simply rent a SUP from the surf school at the campsite and less than 10 minutes later you are there
