The Wochenbrunner Alm can be easily reached either on foot from Ellmau or by car via a toll road (the toll ticket is a voucher on the Alm). At the Alm there is a large parking lot, a game reserve, a Kneipp facility, the Almladl and a chapel. As it is a popular destination, you will look in vain for peace and quiet.

The Alm is located at 1,080 m at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser, offers a wonderful panorama on the beautifully situated sun terrace and is the starting point for numerous hikes.

Good starting point for tours (toll = parking fee 5 €, of which 1.50 € can be redeemed - if you come in the afternoon you can be lucky and the toll station has already closed). Otherwise everything is beautifully laid out with a restaurant, wildlife park, water playground, chalets, alpine shop, etc. and a corresponding amount of hustle and bustle.
