If you're out East and haven't sussed out the new cycleway from Panmure to Pakuranga - you're missing out. Other than a slightly counter-intuitive set of crossing signals near the Panmure rail station, it's all good. Great surface plenty of room, and the new bridge has a couple of small lookout spots (like this one) so geetting photos isn't as fraught as it was perched on the skinny path on the old bridge. It's now a well-lit, smooth run down to Pakuranga Mall :-)
