Auckland's most popular road cycling spot. Stunning views of the harbour and plenty of cafe options. Get there early to catch the sun rising over Rangitoto.

Road cycling
Early in the morning is best as the road is quiet. During summer the cycle lane (shared path) is heavily used by all manner of people and the road can be bumper to bumper traffic... mind you, then at least the cars aren't going fast! There are great cafe's and places to stop, swim, walk and enjoy along the route.
