The Santa Fe Train Depot is the only train station within any U.S. national park. It is also said, that is is the last train station that was completely built out of logs.

The first train arrived at the South Rim in 1901 that made visiting the Grand Canyon very popular for tourists. Since most visitors today come with their own cars, the train service is very limited, but still available. At least once a day, trains depart from Williams south of the canyon.
