A great hiking trail, with a stop at the Gaisalm. The route is not recommended for bikers, as there are more beautiful paths on Lake Achensee.

The Achensee offers a lot of recreational opportunities. Whether on foot, by bike or in the water, everything is beautiful. The wonderful hiking trail starting from Pertisau inspires with great views and narrow little paths.

A beautiful hiking trail from Pertisau towards Geisalm. At the beginning it is still beautiful along the promenade, it gradually turns into a small path along the lake. From the Alm you can either take the boat or continue on the path.

The path is more varied as expected. Up to the Gaisalm (there is a restaurant) - you can take a nice break here - the path is quite easy and suitable for the whole family.
Then it goes to the climb. Here you should wear sturdy shoes. To do well for everyone with a little surefootedness. Varied path, small waterfalls, scree fields and rocky areas. Recommended way.
You can then return by ferry.
