The mill was built in 1844 in the old Rundlingsdorf Werbelin.
The last industrial mill owner milled until 1950, until 1960 still crushed.
The entire village was in 1990 the lignite mining Delitzsch South-West victim. Today is located at this point the Werbeliner See (between Delitzsch and Leipzig). The district of Delitzsch bought the mill and a Löbnitzer company dismantled them professionally. Finally, in 1994/95, it was rebuilt on the grounds of the Schullandheimes Reibitz true to its original appearance.
