From the street there is a view of the site of the former Sunder brickworks with its factory buildings and the pretty house built in 1903. The brickworks was founded in 1806 and processed the local clay deposits until 1991. Around 1950 50 workers were producing around 25,000 bricks a day. Today the clay pits are used as fish ponds, while cultural events occasionally take place in the production halls.
