Hidden behind the large, old trees of the Martin Luther Grove is the Christ Church on Kolbermoorer Strasse in Bad Aibling.
It was created in 1903/04 by the initiative of a church building association, as there was no independent Protestant parish at that time (Aibling's Protestants belonged to Großkarolinenfeld, the first Protestant parish of Upper Bavaria founded in 1806).
As with other places of worship, the interior of the church was changed several times over the course of time. Only the outer structure in its mixture of historicism and art nouveau remained unchanged.
