The church of St. Peter and Paul in Berg is a branch of the Metten parish and, together with the old schoolhouse and the tavern, forms the center of the village of Berg.
The church was built on the foundation walls of a mighty tower that belonged to a refuge. The church is mentioned as early as 1299. It was given its current appearance around 1600. The side altars were added to the church in 1623. The high altar dates from around 1760.

The Catholic branch church of St. Peter and Paul, built around 1299, is a small baroque hall with a retracted, probably late Gothic choir and north tower. Around 1760 the church was renewed. The tower substructure is Romanesque, the superstructure dates from 1893. The one from the 18th / 19th century. The churchyard wall dating back to the 19th century was built from natural stone.

Berg, a place like any other.

The place has a water fountain, this invites you to refresh yourself :-).
There is also a church that belongs to the Metten community.
