In the small zoo Oberhausen in the middle of the imperial garden you can mainly look at native animals from Germany and Europe. These include: deer (red deer and fallow deer), wild boar, sheep, moufflons, raccoons, goats, ibexes, pigs, lynxes, wolves, otters, eagles, donkeys, horses including Shetland ponies and tarpan, guinea pigs, nutria , Rabbits, chickens, alpacas (llamas), storks, geese, and peacocks. Very popular in the zoo Oberhausen are also the turtles (tortoises) in a small house. For children there is a very popular petting zoo.
