The hike leads to the third highest volcano in northern Lanzarote on the crater Los Helechos. From the summit you have beautiful views of the island of Graciosa, the crater Monte Corona, the Mirador del Río and the Malpais de la Corona. The volcano is a double crater and can be circumnavigated relatively easily on the crater rim. Traces of former agricultural use can be seen in the crater basin.
