Despite the comparatively young history of the church building, which was consecrated in the midst of the Nazi era, there is a lot to be said about the bells: For the ceremonial consecration of the church, the Ulrich bell foundry was initially commissioned to cast three bells in 1934. But after just a few years, the new bell had to be confiscated as a metal donation during the Second World War - not a single bell remained on the tower. Due to the young age of the bells, it was safe to assume that they would all have to be melted down. All the more astonishing was the discovery of the completely undamaged Our Lady Bell, donated by the then curate Henny, after the end of the war. At least one of the bells cast on December 26, 1934 was able to ring again in the Burgpreppach church.

In 1949, an unexpected donation enabled the community to acquire a historic bell from the Hörz company's warehouse - it was cast in 1652 by Georg Werther in Coburg, not far away. After further financial resources became available, the gap between the two bells was closed in 1956 with the purchase of the Kunigunde bell from St. Heinrich in Bamberg. The bell was left over after a powerful steel bell was purchased for St. Heinrich. A few years after the bells were installed, the Perner company was entrusted with the installation of ringing machines in 1962 - on this occasion the historic Marienbell was turned to prevent a crack from forming. Despite the different foundries and years of casting, the bells ringing in the Gloria motif cannot be denied a certain tension and sound quality.

The Catholic parish church of St. Konrad von Parzham, built in 1934/35, is located directly on the main street of Burgpreppach.
