Unfortunately, the view is quite overgrown, so that the dam can hardly be seen here. You have a better view a little higher from the summit of the Eisenberg or the via ferrata there.

From up there you have a great view - almost like from the plane - down. Everything looks so small and arranged clearly. So go up and be amazed !!!

From here you have an impressive view of the dam on the Diemelsee. The building is about 42 meters high and 194 meters long on the crown. In 1924 she was put into operation. During the Second World War, the Wall was always the target of the Allies, who wanted to destroy the infrastructure by destroying the structure. But this plan failed luckily.
