Hiking

Beautiful landscape. At first it reminded me a bit of the Black Forest. The hike around the Diemelsee includes many beautiful viewpoints of the forests and the lake with the great dam. Unfortunately, when we were there, the forest was heavily infested with bark beetles and many trees were bare and destroyed. I hope that is better now.
